For Tomodachi Life on the 3DS, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'How do I delete my save and start over?' Tomodachi Life is a life simulation video game developed by Nintendo SPD and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS.The game, which is a direct sequel to the Japan-exclusive Nintendo DS title Tomodachi Collection, was released in Japan in April 2013, June 2014 worldwide and July 2014 in South Korea.
Tomodachi Life has been pretty popular outside Japan, and especially in Europe, which is why Nintendo decided to re-release the game. Indeed, back in July, the company announced that Tomodachi Life would be translated in Dutch: this new version of the game is now available in store! But players who already own the game and want to play in Dutch do not have anything to worry about: an update is now available!
This new update brings Tomodachi Life to Ver. 2.0, with the following changes:
- Dutch translation added (you simply need to set your system language to Dutch in order to play the game in Dutch).
- Introduces additional enhancements to improve the user’s experience and enjoyment.
This update requires 355 blocks (roughly 44MB) of free space on your SD Card, and to download it, you have several options:
- you can select the game from the Home Menu (while being connected to the internet), in order to trigger the download;
- you can search for Tomodachi Life on the Nintendo eShop
- you can use the option on the Nintendo eShop Settings page
Also, Nintendo announced today that the special import items would be distributed for another year. Those SpotPass distributions were supposed to end next year, but now, they will keep going until the middle of 2017. Of course, Nintendo will simply resend the same items, so if you missed one in particular, you will be able to get it!

In 2013, the TOMODACHI Initiative in partnership with MetLife Japan launched the TOMODACHI MetLife Women’s Leadership Program (TMWLP) to develop the next generation of global female leaders.The program aims to equip women with 21st century leadership skills, self-confidence, and the network required to successfully navigate their leadership journey in an ever-changing world. Through the year-long program, highly-motivated Japanese women university students work to hone their leadership skills. The students attend regular group sessions hosted by the U.S. Embassy that provide training in leadership development and financial empowerment by MetLife Japan. The students are also paired with female mid-career professionals as mentors to have one-on-one support and networking opportunities. Mentees also visit Washington, D.C. and New York for a weeklong study trip. Throughout the program mentees and mentors are invited to attend special seminars with members of government and business leaders.
The TMWLP was originally held in Tokyo and Osaka and has expanded to include Naha, Fukuoka, and Sapporo on a rotating basis. The program is held in four cities each year. The 2017-2018 TMWLP program will be held in Tokyo, Osaka, Naha, and Fukuoka. In the four-year period from 2013 to 2017, a total of 338 women (169 women university students and 169 mentors) have taken part.
